Define the Solution

Clearly defining the solution ensures that teams have a consistent vision of what they're building. Everyone can then work towards that vision. A simple description of the offering is especially important for climate startups developing complex technologies. An image of the solution is also important, even if it is just a simple diagram. It’s easy to get deep in the weeds with the science and engineering behind the technology, but usually the offering comes down to a set of inputs that get turned into a set of useful outputs through some sort of innovative process or device.
